He is working as a Senior Lecturer, Department of English, at ASA University Bangladesh since 2014. He has the experience of working as a teacher of English language and literature at the university level for six (06) years. He had also worked as a teacher of English at several government and private colleges for three (03) more years. In between he worked as the Assistant Commissioner at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kurigram for the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. His fascination for literature and teaching brought him to the profession of teaching at the university level. He is interested in doing research in the field of Romantic poetry, American literature and literary theory, and has written three research articles in peer-reviewed journals in these fields. In addition, he is an avid reader of contemporary genre of fantasy novels and noir fiction, and has a keen interest in translating world famous fantasy novels into Bangla in future. He is currently working as a member of Self-Assessment Committee of the Department of English under the supervision of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at ASA University Bangladesh. He takes a special interest in sports and games and has been working as the Coordinator of Sports Wing of English Club of the university since 2012.
