Justice, Rule of Law and Humanity: Perspectives from the International Crimes Tribunal

A distinguished academic event organized by the ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) Law Club titled “Justice, Rule of Law and Humanity: Perspectives from the International Crimes Tribunal” as part of Law Fest 2025. The seminar, which also included a prize-giving ceremony. Through this initiative, ASA University Bangladesh aimed to cultivate informed dialogue among students, academics, and practitioners on the evolving landscape of international criminal justice. The event reflected the university’s broader mission to promote legal awareness, uphold the principles of the rule of law, and prepare future legal professionals to address complex humanitarian challenges.

The program welcomed the Honourable Chief Guest Justice Golam Mortuza Mozumder, Chairman of the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh. His presence underscored the national importance of the discussion and highlighted the university’s commitment to deepening understanding of justice and accountability.

The event also featured Professor Dr. S. M. Rezaul Karim, Vice-Chancellor of ASA University Bangladesh, as the Special Guest. His participation reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to rigorous legal scholarship and active student engagement.

The seminar was chaired by Md. Saiful Alam, Dean (In-Charge) of the Faculty of Law, ASA University Bangladesh, whose leadership continued to guide the faculty toward academic excellence and social relevance. Registrar(In-charge) Mst. Zinat tara and the faculties of different Department were also attended the event.
