Department of Applied Sociology, ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) organized a Freshers Reception program for its Spring Semester-2015 and farewell to outgoing students on 26 February 2015. Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, ASAUB, Mr. Md. Shafiqual Haque Choudhury was present as Chief Guest while Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Science Prof. Dr. Abu Daud Hasan presided over the program. Honorable Vice Chancellor of ASAUB Prof. Dr. Dalem Ch. Barman was present as Special Guest. Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Helal uz Zaman, Treasurer of ASAUB, Prof. Md. Muinuddin Khan, Adviser & Former Vice Chancellor of ASAUB and Mr. Md. Khalequzzaman, Registrar, ASAUB were present as Guests of Honour on the occasion. Prof. S. Aminul Islam, Chairman, Department of Applied Sociology gave the welcome address.
Deans and Chairmen from different Faculties and Departments, Additional Registrar Mr. Md. Ashraful Haq Chowdhury, Proctor of ASAUB, Teachers and Students from Applied Sociology Dept., High officials of ASAUB were also present in the program.
