Message from the Vice Chancellor
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to the students who have chosen ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) as their academic home, and heartful gratitude to our guardians and the broader community for their unwavering support.
Since commencing our journey in May 2007, following government approval in October 2006, ASAUB has grown from 768 pioneering students to a thriving institution on a mission. Now we have four facultiesnamely, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Social Science, and Faculty of Law, and six departments- Department of Business Administration, Department of Law, Department of English, Department of Applied Sociology, Department of Pharmacy and Department of Public Health. Five more departments e.g. Department of Agrotechnology, Department of Electrical an Electronic Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Nursing Management are in the process of opening in near future In Sha Allah. Today, our vision reaches far beyond academic distinction.We are committed to becoming a center of meaningful problem solving and socio economic research, while serving as a beacon of integrity and service to humanity.The University aims at inculcating social and moral values in our students, the leaders of tomorrow.
Guided by the visionary founder, Mr. Md. Shafiqul Haque Choudhury - whose microfinance legacy inspires our mission, ASAUB remains dedicated to providing accessible, quality higher education. He believed that educating the underprivileged is pivotal to eradicating poverty and uplifting our nation.
Under the stewardship of our committed faculty, administrators, and inspiring students, ASAUB is poised to earn a distinguished place among Bangladesh" s top universities. We cherish our role in nurturing future leaders who are not only intellectually capable, but also ethically grounded and socially conscious.I wish the University a bright future and assure the society of providing quality higher education at an affordable cost in Bangladesh.
